Last few weeks of school

THE MONTH OF MAY

Ashlyn's Oral report on Colorado

Well with school winding down, we had a busy busy month. Ashlyn had her report on Colorado. She did a great job and we were proud of her. She had to do a poster and an oral presentation. She was also saddened to learn that her favorite teacher will not be back next year at Manila. She is going to go work at the district. It was really hard on Ashlyn because she was going to have her again this year. But hopefully she will have a good one next year.

Britton also really enjoyed and loved his teacher-Mrs. Deaver. He learned a lot and was so sad that she wouldn't let him do summer school. She told him he was just too smart. He really wanted to do it and still does. But believe me, mom is keeping him busy this summer.

She also finished her soccer season. She loved her team and her coach. But many of them are moving on to competition soccer. Ashlyn enjoys soccer but isn't sure she really wants to do competition soccer this year. But it was hard because her good friends are still doing competition. Maybe she will be ready to do it next year.
