Manit Pageant and Father's Day

OUR FAMILIES WEEKEND -Father's Day and Manti Pageant
Mommy and Ellie

We had a wonderful weekend this weekend. We headed out on Friday night to Manti, Utah to see the Manti Mormon Miracle Pageant. Once again it was a lot of fun and we enjoyed seeing our friends the Cox's. It's like our kids haven't missed a beat and started playing immediately and all had a wonderful job. They treated us with yummy food and a good time. We are hoping to go back soon and go boating with them. The Pageant was wonderful and the kids had a great time trying to find the Cox family in the production. The only one we were sure of was when the Savior holds up a baby because we knew that was Brayden. Thanks Cox's for the fun visit.
On Saturday the kids wanted to go see the baby pigs and the Cox farm. So we headed over. The kids enjoyed seeing the little pigs but we were amazed at how big the mommies were. Here we are getting ready for the pageant. It starts at 9:30 and get over about two hours later. Fortunately we were able to just walk home in about 4 to 5 minutes and get the kids in bed.

Our Daddy on Father's day with his four kids. He had a good day and got breakfast in bed, presents, a yummy dinner and lots of hugs and kisses from the kiddos. Happy Father's Day to all the dads in our lives.

Our Denver Trip

OUR COLORADO TRIP-WE SURE HAD FUN

The Grange family on our hike in Colorado Springs

What a cute family

The last day of school we jumped in the van (around 10 in the morning) and took the long drive to Colorado Springs. We stopped at Scott's sister's house and visited for a day. Just across town there are some beautiful waterfalls that you can drive and hike too. We decided to go see the beauty of Colorado and went on a few fun hikes.

On our little mountain hike

Yep, This is our Britton

The kids especially enjoyed going to their Uncle Nate's job. He is a fireman for that city and we were able to have a complete tour of his station. The kids thought it was cool and he let them see and do about everything. They liked seeing where he slept and where he ate and to sit on the trucks. Thanks Uncle Nate and Aunt Missy (and of course Kaden and Aaron) for the fun time at our home.

The Kids enjoying the Fire Station and doing a little dance.

We then headed up to Denver to stay with my aunts that live in the area. They had bought a Nintendo Wii and the kids loved playing it. They babysatthe three youngest while Scott, Ashlyn and I headed to Denver to see the musical "Wicked". If you haven't seen it it was AMAZING!!! We enjoyed every part of it. We have been having the music played in our house for the past
few months and it was nice to see how the music relates to the story.Ashlyn was in heaven and hasn't stopped singing since. To see some pictures of our show go to :http://www.denverpost.com/theater/ci_5812947

During our visit we had my aunts DELISH spagetthi and just enjoyed visiting and catching up. We then headed up to our old stomping grounds (Fort Collins) and headed to church to visit with lost of our old friends. We stayed with our really good friends and enjoyed being with their family. The trip was so much fun and we were glad we were able to go.

Dance Festival at Manila

Manila Elementary Dance Festival
The Kids School always has a Dance Festival the Last week of school. Each of the grades performs a dance as a whole and all the parents come and see the cute dances. This year we had a fifth and 1st grader. They sure enjoyed the dances and being with their friends. Here are a few pictures of the kiddos doing their dances.

Mrs. Durrant was Ashlyn's fourth grade teacher. She sure enjoyed her. Ashlyn had a wonderful year and had A's all over her report card. Ashlyn was selected to be on Student Council next year which is a great opportunity for her. She had to write an essay, go through a interview process then the fifth and sixth graders got to vote. She is excited to serve there next year.

The Second Grade-if you look closely you can actually see Britton. Britton thrived in 1st grade. He did so well that his teacher said he is almost reading at a 6th grade level. He loves to learn and loved his teacher.

Clogging Performances

CLOGGING PERFORMANCE

Ashlyn had a good year with Clogging this year. She was on the Hot Shots team and at Lagoon they took First in both dances with OVERALL champion on one of her dances. She loved her team and hopes they can be together next year. Here she is on her last clogging performance as a Hot Shot. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa and Jenny and the boys for coming and supporting her. It means a lot.

Treysons Graduation from Preschool

TREYSON'S PRESCHOOL GRADUATION

Treyson sure had a wonderful year this year at preschool. He is sure going to miss Mrs. Deby this summer but is excited to go three times a year next year. I love her because she is close and takes the kids for 3 hours. I can sure get a lot done during that time. He really loved his friends in preschool and learning his letters. But is also excited to have a little break.

He sure had a fun time learning new songs and learning to read and write.

It's A Jungle out There

Ashlyn was in her very first Musical this year at school. It was called "It's a Jungle Out there." She was a bear in the play and did a wonderful job. We were proud of her and she sure enjoyed performing and learning the music and dance.

Here she is with her BESTEST friends from school. She loved being with them and enjoyed performing for her Grandparents. Even her Great Grandma White came for the musical. Thanks for all the support family she sure appreciated it.

EASTER TIME

EASTER TIME- THE GRANGE FAMILY 2007

We always love when Easter time approaches because it means warmer weather, new flowers, gardening and the start of Spring. This year is no exception. we had a wonderful time this Easter. We started off on Saturday going to our neighbors baptism. Jared our neighbor turned 8 and had a wonderful baptism along with 4 other kids his age. They are in Britton's Sunday school class so we wanted to support them all.

We then went over to their house and had a wonderful brunch. It was so yummy!!! We then had a Easter Egg Hunt for all the kids. That afternoon we headed to West Valley because Scott and I got tickets to Little Women. As the play started I realized that Ashlyn's drama teacher was in the play so at the mid mark we had her come too so she could see her teacher in the play.

After the play we came home to a wonderful meal at my Parents house. They cooked up yummy
hamburgers and hotdogs. The food was great so thanks family. We then had a fun Easter Egg Hunt with PRIZES for all the kiddos that their Grandma Jan and Grandpa Dan did for them. They sure scored and didn't need anything else from the Easter Bunny.

The Three Cousins and their stuff

Parker and Ellie

Brielle loving her loot. She had a great time with all her stuff and especially with her cousins. It's been so fun to have the three cousins so close together. They are getting so big and definetly have cute personalities.

Ashlyn scored the most because there was money in some of the eggs. She found the BIG egg with FIVE WHOLE DOLLARS IN IT!!! The Adults in the family want to know when we can have our Easter Egg this next year!!!!

Britton trying to find his stuff and the money

Treyson helping his sister. Which as most of
you know doesn't happen that often. He
is cute with her most of the time.

Easter morning was fun. Here the kids are waiting to go downstairs. Like always the Easter Bunny did clues for the kids to find their baskets. They were running all over the house trying to find out where there baskets were.

The Grange family on Easter Afternoon.

I had to teach on Easter Sunday so we all got dressed up and went to church. After Sunday school we decided to leave and go a little earlier to the Granges. Melissa and Nate were visiting and we wanted to see them and the boys.

Treyson and Brielle

We first took some pictures and then had a wonderful Easter dinner. The Ham was so good and so was the rest of the food. Thanks for all the family that helped. We then enjoyed just visiting and having the kids run all around the yard and play with each other. Grandma and Grandpa Grange got a new playground that the kids just LOVED playing on.

We took a lot of pictures because the kids just kept posing for them. Here are a few of our favorites from Easter. I love the ones with the Boys and their Dad and the two girls together.

Ashlyn Getting Older- I can't believe how big she is getting. She is a big
help around the house and is doing well at school.

Brielle swinging in her swing

My two buddies getting bigger

Overall Easter was great. The kids enjoyed having the Easter Bunny fill up their baskets with toys, a slip and slide and movies. So we have been watching a lot of movies the past few days.
Hope you all had a good Easter too.

Ellie not wanting to be on his lap

Just a few more pictures-Hey I don't blog that often.

The GRANGE GIRLS

I had to find a pink outfit to match the girls this year. I know that in
a few years the kids won't let us match them. So until then
I am taking full advantage and matching
them anytime I can. I love having the
girls in the Hot Pink. I was able to find a skirt
with those colors and then after a huge day at the mall was able to find
a shirt to match. Thanks Whitney for coming with me.

More cute pictures

At our house before Church. The Sun was so bright that most of our
pictures at this time didn't turn out. The kids either had their eyes
all the way closed so really squinted. We decided we would
try later when it wasn't as sunny.

We hope that each of you had a wonderful Easter time. For those that we don't see often we want you to know that we love and miss you. The kids love and miss you too.
