Well Halloween was a fun day for our family. It started the night before when we went to Scott's work party. The kids trick or treated, watch Bedknobs and Broomsticks, ate pizza, juice and decorated sugar cookies. They sure had a good time. We then went to my Grandma's house to trick or treat. We were already in costume so we decided it would be easier than doing it on Halloween with all our activities.
The next day (Actual Halloween) I spent the entire day at the school. Britton's party was first at 10:30. I helped with a game and they had four different stations to go to. They decorated cookies, made skeletons, and played two games. He sure had a good time.
I then went to Treyson's preschool becasue they were having a parade down the street. I got some very cute pictures of him and his class.
I then went back to help with Ashlyn's party. The fourth grade all did the same thing. Each class had a different activity in it. We were in charge of helping them make skeletons out of macaroni and beans. I was amazed at how creative the kids are. We did four rotations with her class. Two before the parade and two after.
So I also was able to go to the parade. The kids all were so cute and it was fun to see them all in costume. After school we got ready again and then at 5 p.m. went to our street party. Every year we get together in the circle near us and have a dinner before Trick or Treating. It was a little cold this year but we still did it. We had hotdogs and soup and yummy treats. We then went trick or treating. My mom, dad, Sister and her son Parker came down to go wtih us. I stayed at home to pass out the candy and Scott took the kids (but Brielle). They were gone for about an 1 1/2 and scored on the candy. Unfortuantely for them I gave over half away to their teachers for their treat jars. Anothe part I froze for the future. But they still had more candy than they knew what to do with.
So that's our Halloween!!! Ashlyn was our Princess, We had our two knights who save her and their trusty horse.
