Another year older

Well friends and family- that's right. I am officially another year older. I had a wonderful birthday celebration. It started on Sunday with my Dad's wonderful Sukiyaki. YUMMM!!! It is a wonderful meal that we only get on special occasions. We were able to spend the time with my family and it was a fun evening. My sister in law Heather made me the cutest sign and gave me a fun cookbook from her ward. I love cookbooks and the sign will go perfect in my home. Thanks Heather and Chas.
For my birthday my parents gave me tickets to Hale Center theater to see a play. We went it saw it last weekend and they were the babysitters. Thanks Mom and Dad.

Scott gave me a bag that had 3 enveloped in it. IT said I had to choose one of the envelopes but that I got to pick my present this year.

My three choices were:

#1- A new computer and monitor (Not too bad huh?)
#2- A new Treadmill (I have wanted one this winter)
#3- A piano

Me looking at the envelopes

Well after considering all my options I came up with a few things. Our computer is still working okay so that was the first to be axed. Then it was between the Treadmill and the Piano. I REALLY want both. But as it is getting lighter outside in the morning and the fact that I love running outside in the early morning when its summer-I decided I want a piano. I hope that maybe if I am extra good I can have a Treadmill for Christmas. Santa are you listening?

Yummy Birthday cake from COLDSTONE!!!

The Kids and I getting ready for the cake.

I then got some much needed essentials from my in-laws and am grateful for those. So I had a wonderful day. Scott and the kids made me breakfast in bed. Then Scott grilled Steaks and we had asparagus, red potatoes, and yummy salad. It was DELISH!!!

What a fun birthday. So now to the fun of Valentines' Day tomorrow.
